PRELUDE TAICHUNG NIGHTMARKET DAJIA-KAOMEI BASEBALL CONCLUSION

Metro On The Way

Unlike Taipei where metro system connected the city well. Here in Taichung, is the trustworthy bus and trains services that interweaving this city and its surrounding areas. But the only grouse being most of the bus services end at around 10pm at night, so plan your schedule or flag a cab.

Pao-chueh Temple

This temple is a stone throw away from Shin Ming High School and its presence is easily spotted with the huge statue of Maitreya within the sight. Another interesting feature of the temple in Taichung is a huge cement structure being erected over the original wooden structure for preservation and safety reasons.

Miyahara

This place was built by the Japanese back in 1927 for ophthalmology purpose. When the island came under KMT rule after the World War II, this place was used as medical facilities before it was left deserted until 2012 when transformation saw this venue known for its ice cream and a popular spot for purchasing local products in Taichung.

Just how popular is the ice cream sold by Miyahara that attracted long queues everyday? The answer is on the left of these words.
