Prelude
The impressions I have on Taiwan prior I leaving for this upcoming trips are illustrated on this YOUTUBE videos.

I am not meant to degrade or belittle any sight or fact but that were what presented to me.

In a sense that having exposed to Taiwanese culture via various sources , I can't help but having a sense of "presumably" that I hope it would not dampen the WOW factor which I always look forward to a trip.

The flight
What a pleasant surprise when I found out that we don't have to view of the in-flight entertainment together, since everyone of us onboard will "given" a personalized "touch-screen" right in front of us.

飞行的感想
每个乘客的座位背后都设有提供"空中娱乐"的各自小型屏幕.

不用跟大伙共赏,享用而选择自己想要的"空中娱乐",真地是一种很舒服的感受;p.

..甚至可以在空中拨电话，发电邮和简讯..and even make phone call, email and SMS (at a premiun rate, of course).

Touching Down
"So here we are in Taiwan!!"

Arrived at the Taoyuan International Airport (Formerly, known as the Chiang Kai Shek International Airport) in Taoyuan County.

Need to adjust and get used to the traditional way of the Chinese character, still used in Taiwan.

抵境

到了。。坐了四个多钟头的飞机，来到桃园国际机场。感觉上跟一般的国际机场没多大的不同，只是要习惯看得懂用繁体字的中文写法。

Shih-Lin Night Market
One of the cornerstones of Taipei is the Shih-Lin Night Market.

Although it doesn't seems like the one I saw on TV, its reputation as a food hub in the capital has not changed despite the shift of its location.

Fried Oysters, Taiwanese sausages (not those we have it in the pasar malam), wantons and lot, lot more.

台北笫一站-士林夜市
士林夜市算是台北市一个指标性的景点.

虽然不像在电视上所看到地一样,但不变地是这丰富的台湾小吃文化,就说"大饼包小饼"之类的小吃都找得到.

在士林，不叫“云吞”而是“抄手”They don't call this dumplings "Wanton" as we do but another name - "Chao Shou"

“大饼包小饼”就有如咱的“糖葱薄饼”，不过是馅料不通而已。

Shi-Men-Ding
Touted to be the "IN" place for the Taipeian youth.

It's a hotspot to spot the latest trend and many singers chosen this spot in Taipei to stage their album launch and meet-the-fans sessions.

But the funny thought was that its felt and sight bear resemblance to what I saw in Seoul's Myeongdong and Kunming's SanShi Jie.

西门町
号称为时下台北年青人最"IN" 的地带,也是多数华语乐坛歌手"指定"发行,签唱会的首选场地.

像去过的汉城的"民洞"或昆明"三市街",西门町的街道规划也蛮相似地.

也许是这个原因,总是觉得"看过就算"的心态.
